Pricing
$500 a month. Your firm brain, built and run for you.
Founding cohort pricing: $500 a month maintenance, build fee waived for the first 10 firms.
Every firm gets the core: the brain, read-first, JB on iMessage. Then you choose 3 of 5 builds. FirmOps bills your firm, not your headcount. Not an MSO: you keep your case system, your people and your case work.
Apple Pay, Google Pay, card or bank. Terms are agreed at onboarding.
Who can sign up on their own
A law firm of up to 10 people whose case system, email and files are on the supported list below. If your stack is on the list, start today and we build from the onboarding call. If it is not, request the demo and we quote the custom integration.
Supported systems today
- Case and matter: Clio Manage (with Clio Payments and Clio Grow, read-only), Asana
- Email and calendar: Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), Microsoft 365 (mail read, calendar)
- Files: Dropbox
- Billing: QuickBooks Online (read), Clio Payments
- Phones: CallRail (call and after-hours lead data)
- Estate planning: Wealth Counsel (contacts, matters)
- E-signature: DocuSeal through FirmOps, $1 per envelope passed through
By quote: Filevine, SmartAdvocate, MyCase, PracticePanther, LEAP, Google Drive, SharePoint and anything without an API.
Always included: the core
- The firm brain: an MCP server connected to up to 5 supported systems, reachable from your own Claude or ChatGPT, with per-person sign-in.
- Read-first on day one: find and retrieve matters, the timeline, tasks, notes, contacts, documents, the signed-in person's email and calendar, invoices.
- Inquiries sorted and replies drafted from the mailboxes you name, for a person at the firm to send.
- A "work that needs attention" queue: unsigned agreements, incomplete intake, overdue tasks, unanswered client email.
- JB, your firm's business agent. You, and the staff you add, text it anytime from an iPhone over iMessage. It answers from the brain and drafts for your OK.
Choose 3 of 5 builds (build fee waived for the first 10 firms)
Pick the 3 that move your firm now. Already have one built? Skip it and pick another. The ones you do not pick arrive one a month on maintenance, or are quoted if you want them sooner. Each build names what it replaces; the software cost calculator highlights the ones that match your stack.
Build 1
One-call close
Sign-and-pay links by text while the prospect is still on the phone: the engagement agreement filled from what staff enter, paid through Clio Payments or Stripe, the matter and signed PDF filed. $1 per envelope.
Replaces: Per-seat e-signature plans, retyped retainers, the follow-up chase.
We need: Your retainer templates and fee schedule; Clio Payments or Stripe access.
Build 2
Intake portal on your domain
Your questionnaire cloned onto a portal at app.yourfirm.com: clients answer and upload once, documents land in the matter folder, staff see status without asking.
Replaces: Intake questionnaire tools, form builders, client portal add-ons.
We need: Your current intake form and a DNS record on your domain.
Build 3
Document packets from your templates
Estate administration packets, demand packets, engagement letters and routine filings drafted from the file with your templates, staged for review in the AI you already use.
Replaces: Document-automation seats and part of a legal AI seat.
We need: Your templates as Word files and two finished examples of each.
Build 4
Matter-type automation
One high-volume flow end to end: traffic tickets, DWI, a practice-area funnel from inquiry to agreement to matter opened, with a person approving each step that goes out.
Replaces: Zapier or Make glue, form-tool funnels, staff retyping the same intake.
We need: The flow as it runs today (screenshots or the zaps) and who approves what.
Build 5
Client comms that keep running
Billing reminders, court-date notices, status nudges and review requests after a matter closes: drafted by the brain, sent after your OK, from a number FirmOps runs.
Replaces: Review-request and texting tools, drip zaps, the paralegal who remembers.
We need: The triggers (dates and stages in your case system) and the wording you want.
How it lands: weeks 1 to 4, the core plus your first build; weeks 5 to 8, the other two; then maintenance. Day one is read-first. The brain earns more responsibility as it earns trust.
One firm per practice area per city. We never build for the firm you compete with.
Monthly maintenance, $500 a month
- Connections kept alive: tokens re-authorized, vendor API changes absorbed, monitoring, an audit log.
- Drafts for the firm's OK: inquiry replies, follow-ups, matter notes, tasks. Nothing goes out unless a person at the firm completes it.
- One new build a month: the next module from the menu, a second intake flow, a Dropbox file-request step, an invoice draft. Unused months do not roll over.
- Fixes, questions and small changes through JB are not counted. The monthly request is for a new build.
- A monthly ops note: new inquiries, signed, stalled, what changed.
- Support by email, one business day.
Quoted after the demo
- Systems off the supported list and anything without an API.
- System consolidation: moving off a redundant CRM or intake tool into the system you keep, with the data migrated. We have done it; it is scoped per firm on the demo.
- The fourth and fifth builds from the menu if you want them now instead of one a month.
- Two-way client texting, outbound email automation, phone or SMS lines.
- Website, SEO, newsletter and other marketing.
What you keep paying
- Your own Claude or ChatGPT plan.
- One extra seat for the FirmOps identity in tools that charge per user, about $10 a month in most task tools.
- $1 per e-sign envelope.
Text JB anytime
JB is your firm's business agent and part of the $500. Text it from your iPhone over iMessage: what came in today, which agreements are unsigned, draft a reply to that client. It answers from the brain and drafts for your OK. It is not a receptionist and does not answer client calls.
How to start
- Start the $500 a month subscription above, or request the demo first.
- Book the onboarding call from the welcome page. The agreement arrives by email to sign; the access checklist lives in your portal.
- On the onboarding call you pick your 3 builds; they go into the agreement by name.
Fit guarantee: if the onboarding call shows your stack is not on the supported list, the first month is refunded in full.
Put a number on your current stack
The law firm software cost calculator adds up your per-seat subscriptions and shows what a firm brain consolidates, net of the $500 maintenance, starting from a real firm's stack.
Questions
Is there a contract term?
Terms are agreed at onboarding. Commitment standards for the founding cohort are being set with the first firms, so this page does not state a term.
What is the build fee?
Quoted per firm, and waived for the first 10 firms in the founding cohort. It covers the core plus your 3 chosen builds.
Why choose 3 of 5?
Firms arrive at different stages. Some already have intake built, some already text clients. You pick the 3 that move your firm now, we build those first, and the others arrive one a month on maintenance or are quoted if you want them sooner.
I already have one of the five. Do I lose a pick?
No. Skip it and pick another. If the brain can connect to what you already built, it reads from it on day one.
Do you work with my competitors?
One firm per practice area per city. We never build for the firm you compete with.
What if my case system is not on the list?
Book the demo. If you sign up on your own and the onboarding call shows your stack is not supported, the first month is refunded in full.
Is FirmOps an MSO?
No. FirmOps is not an MSO and does not do case management. You keep your case system, your people and your case work. FirmOps makes the firm more efficient: fewer subscriptions, one consolidated stack, scale without adding headcount, happier clients, stronger cash flow.
Does JB answer my phones?
No. People keep the phones. JB works behind them: it answers your questions from the brain, sorts inquiries, and drafts for your OK. Nothing goes out without a person at the firm.
How do I pay?
Apple Pay, Google Pay, a card or a US bank account, as a monthly subscription through Stripe. You get a receipt by email and can update the card yourself.
Pricing confirmed 2026-11-02. FirmOps is a Vertana brand and a trade name of Cadence Management and Consulting LLC.
